When initially developing the logo I was playing around with it in repeating patterns. I decided to go back to one of these and animate it to be used as a Spotify canvas – a looping video that is displayed on vertical screens in place of the album artwork.
The band's core members are two childhood best friends, and for their first few single releases they wanted to use photos of them when they were younger as album artwork. They asked me to edit some photos to make them more suitable for this purpose. An example of one of the edits can be seen below.
For the final artwork I also did some colour‑correction and made some changes to the perspective and un-cropped the image so that it was framed better in a 1:1 crop as is required for album artwork.
The band brought me along to their gig in a packed‑out St. Margaret's in Braemar.
These photos have let the band sell themselves to bookers and promoters and have helped in getting them booked for gigs and festivals in summer 2024.
